Applause! HPEB students are in the spotlight!

Arnold School of Public Health graduate students from the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior are consistently recognized for their achievements.

Among these:

Doctoral student Andrea Warren was awarded the Ceny Walker Graduate Fellowship from USC's Walker Institute to conduct research in Ethiopia this summer. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide supplemental support to exceptionally well-qualified graduate students with well-constructed international study or research proposals related to a thesis or dissertation.

Chiwoneso Tinago has received the 2014 - 15 International Fellowship of the American Association of University Women. The fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Recipients are selected for academic achievement and demonstrated commitment to women and girls.

Deeonna Farr was awarded a fellowship from the Center for Colon Cancer Research for the spring 2014 semester. She also was one of three USC graduate students chosen to receive the 2014 - 2015 Institute for African American Research Fellowship.
