Arnold School hosts annual Vernberg Lecture

The Arnold School hosted the annual Winona B. Vernberg Distinguished Lecture Series on October 16.

Prior to the main event, the Arnold School held a scientific poster session for students on the evening of Wednesday, October 15. Environmental epidemiologist Dr. Kenneth Mundt led the agenda with a talk, titled “An Epidemiological view on Healthy Cities.” Dr. Mundt is the Health Sciences Global Practice Area Leader and Director of Applied Epidemiology for ENVIRON, which co-sponsored the event. Dr. Paolo Boffetta, of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and internationally recognized for his research on cancer epidemiology, served as the Vernberg’s featured speaker this year.
